At the end of September, I took a 2-day trip to Tateyama City in Chiba Prefecture for fishing and sightseeing.
Here's Tateyama Station.
On the first day, I arrived at Aihama Fishing Port in Tateyama City around 3 pm and went fishing. I brought my lure and rod, but I didn't have the right tackle for the fish there. As I was struggling without any nearby tackle shops, a kind individual gave me a tackle suitable for "ajing" (horse mackerel fishing), and I managed to catch three barracuda. I was truly grateful.
Although I couldn't catch any, some skilled anglers were catching horse mackerel.

I stayed at a hotel called Stardust.
The beach was right in front of the hotel and it was beautiful.
On the second day, I visited Awa Shrine.
There's a supermarket nearby.
There's also a fried chicken shop.
For lunch, I had mushroom rice from the supermarket and fried chicken from the shop.

There was a retired couple traveling all over the country in their camper van, fishing along the way. In the summer, their grandchild apparently visits their home, so they return there. It seems like a dreamy life.
I also went fishing on the morning of the second day, but didn't catch anything. I thought the port would be empty on a weekday, but to my surprise, apart from the retired individuals, there were also younger people. It's so nice to have the sea nearby.
