Why did Yo Jeong-hyeok go out of his way to introduce a chef who could become his rival as the protagonist? I understand that he wanted to add more characters to the story, but it makes him look blatantly foolish.
In Korea, human relationships are depicted with a lot of complexity and drama. I wonder if people in Korea are accumulating a lot of pent-up frustration in that area.
