Mustafeh immigrated to Finland as a refugee with his family. However, he is at times confused about his identity as he faces racism and prejudice against refugees. With his heart set on his homeland of Africa and Somalia, he decides to start a copper and gold mining business in Somaliland, a self-declared nation in East Africa, in exchange for the safety of his family and a life in Finland that will provide his children with a quality education.
The direction of the film is good: after the snowy images of Finland,
it overlaps and switches to images of sand in the Somali desert.
